Moose hunting in this part of Quebec is also good.  The hunts are conducted in zones 10 & 12.  This outfit has just acquired a new moose camp in the provincial park.  The accommodation here will be awesome.  There is also world class fishing at your doorstep at this new lodge.  Moose are hunted several different ways.  ARCHERY SEASON IS PROBABLY THE BEST CHANCE AT A GOOD BULL BECAUSE IT IS A RUT HUNT. I t is an exciting experience to call a big bull moose to within bow range!  Moose are in full rut during the archery season.  They are much less wary and are on the move a lot more searching for cows.  

Bull, cow, or calf moose are allowed to be harvested on a tag.  Our moose guides are experts at their craft and will work hard to get you a shot at a moose.  Success rates on moose average around 40% kill in the Zone 10 camp, and the new camp has a much higher concentration of moose so we expect a harvest rate there of  about 60%, which is tremendous on Canada moose.

Rifle hunts for moose are done by stand hunting over bogs, feeding areas, and crossings.  Also spot and stalk is employed in certain situations.  You will find that our moose hunts are moderately priced.  As all other hunts offered by this outfit, this is a great deal for the money.
