The Woodland Caribou populations on The Great Northern Peninsula now rival numbers anywhere on the Island with many trophy antlers caught each year.  Our outfitter had 100% success rate for caribou and averaged 80% in large animals until 2006.  The numbers are now in decline and the licenses have been adjusted accordingly.
