The bear hunting area consists of over 30,000 acres of wilderness with an abundant supply of black bear.  Each year's success rates are fabulous on trophy bear.  We offer spring and fall bear hunts.  All bear hunts are done over baits, with bait sites two to three miles apart.  There are no long walks and hand held radios are used to contact your guide in case you get your bear early.  We accommodate all types of hunts; gun, bow, and black powder.  Stands are set according to whether you are left- or right- handed and what weapon you choose to hunt with. 

Our area is noted for large bears.  Because of our coastal location, the bears diet is very high in protein resulting in higher weights than interior bears.  Bears of 300 pounds and more are not uncommon.
